[spawrts-muhn-ship, spohrts-]
noun
1.the character, practice, or skill of a sportsman.

sportsmanship — n , pl -men
a person who exhibits qualities highly regarded in sport, such as fairness, generosity, observance of the rules, and good humour when losing

According to the ultimate sports aphorism, It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game. But should sportsmanship be more important than winning?
Seems AKC thinks it is important.
